Get There From Here was founded by Jennifer Gleeson Blue, who has been developing and using her narrative approach to help creative people and organizations facilitate change. As a classically-trained coach, she draws upon her own creative life to engage, equip and empower her clients.

When I was four years old, I carried out a lengthy phone conversation with the Easter Bunny. We were probably talking business strategy (is it really a good use of time and energy to hide eggs in a field?) and personal fulfillment (who would you be if you weren’t THE Easter Bunny?). Which brings us to the most important thing you need to know about me…

I absolutely love holding the space for individuals and organizations to identify and create their most authentic and powerful stories. Coaching, facilitating and leading workshops are fabulous gifts in my life. Plus, it keeps me on my toes.

To that end, I’ve studied people, organizations, business, literature, coaching, narrative and leadership in myriad ways throughout my life. Here are the “formal” education credentials:

  • BA in Communication Studies, emphasis in Media Studies, Azusa Pacific University
  • Graduate, Coach U
  • Graduate, Collaborative Operating System, Collaborative Leaders, Inc.

I am also a member of the International Coach Federation and a past Board member of the Philadelphia Area Coaches Alliance. I have spoken to groups and led workshops all over North America and been in business since 2007.

Read my speaking bio here.

Prior to discovering coaching, I dabbled left and right to test for passion and fit.  My previous professional life includes a stint in a professional theatre, office manager for an importer of Italian restaurant equipment (the espresso machine in the office was a definite perk!), retail supervisor, sound designer, apartment manager . . . and the list goes on.  These varied experiences – combined with “extracurriculers” like singing, traveling and acting – have proven to be a great springboard from which to coach.

I live in Philadelphia with my husband, Scott, and two cats, Malcolm and Niko.
