1. Telling your story is good for you. Not only does putting language to something clarify it, it also helps you see it differently. Plus, sometimes, we just need to be heard.
2. Telling your story is good for others. (Read that first sentence twice, please.) We need to hear your story so we know we’re not alone. So we can see our own stories differently. So we can begin to change them.
